Welcome to Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Vijayapura-II (Indi)

Indian council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in collaborations with University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad Started Krishi Vigyan Kendra Vijayapura-II (Indi) at Indi in Vijayapura district as an additional kvk of Vijayapura district on 26th September 2016. It works under the Jurisdiction of University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad and involved in the transfer of agricultural technologies to the farming community.

Vijaypura district is known for sorghum,cotton,Maize,Sunflower and Horitculture crops like grape, pomegrante, Lime. Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Indi caters to the needs of farmers in agriculture, horticulture and animal husbandary activities through field visit,consultancy to farmers visiting KVK, On and Off campus training programmes and various capacity buidling programmes.Awarness about various programme through filed day, special days and linkage with line departments to serve and to increase the income of farmers by suggesting farmers to adopt scientific way of agriculture.
